The torch is beautiful and the red is even more outstanding - not likely to get confused in a sea of black. The screen is very sensitive and it is important to keep locking it so as not to accidentally activate a phone call or switch apps. It makes reading emails and viewing spreadsheets a breeze. The only downside is the limited ringtones :
i bought the phone for my son as a christmas gift. when preparing to write a review for it i asked him to rate it for me and tell me how to rate it. he said he gives it 50 billion points so if 5 stars is worth that much then thats what he chooses. he says it is amazing and he falls more in love with it each day he has it. so, i can give what i can only assume to be a great review of this product. it defiantely passes a teenagers tests for approval in technology.
The BlackBerry Torch 9800 is a 2010 model in the BlackBerry line of smartphones. It combines a physical QWERTY keyboard with a sliding multi-touch screen display and runs on the latest BlackBerry OS 6. Introduced on August 3, 2010, the phone became available exclusively on AT&T on August 12, 2010.
The device looks similar to existing BlackBerry devices, but due to the sliding keyboard features a bigger 3.2 inch 480x360 screen (the same resolution as the BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Storm 2) and these features allow the BlackBerry Torch 9800 to look unique. The software is seen by most to be an improvement over the previous version. The device also features far greater social network integration, a powerful universal search feature, and a WebKit browser comparable to those found on iOS and Android devices.
